He ended up making me a beta tester and I found a lot of things that needed fixed. After a couple months later, the update is finally available and is so much better than what they'd released all the way back in June.Crying is not Enough puts you in the hands of Jacob Helten, after a serious car accident with his wife: Claire. The game starts off with him having a nightmare and then waking up in a panic. He's then told to make way to the hospital as something has happened to Claire. Upon arriving, he finds out that she's mysteriously disappeared from the hospital with little information about the situation to offer. A mysterious woman then tells Jacob to go with her as she might be affiliated with Claire in some way. Jacob follows her onto a helicopter where they have a small discussion before they find out the helicopter's been rigged with an explosive then blows up and crashes on an island.This game may not be your cup of tea as it is far from being AAA (it was literally developed by two people). But in my own opinion, it's really scary and fun in its own way. Not to mention it is heavily inspired by Resident Evil 2. You can easily tell by the OST and some of the level design that it definitely is.I recommend this game because it's fun. And I think you should give it a try.. ok.... I don't know why all these negative feedback on the game the game is playable although it need some fixing in the finishing and that is not big deal it can be fixed in the next updates I recommend you to buy it but not now just wait for some modification I think they will do it soon if they care about their game. I have really enjoyed the first bit of this game and can not believe how good the game looks! I would rather there be fewer cutscenes and more of the player controlling things but it's not bad. I am not a fan of all the radiation stuff but the game is a good survival horror. The game use to be unplayable now its really fun. I've been beta testing this game for the past 7 or so months and after seeing the amount of work they've been putting into their game and treating it pretty much like their child, I can say these 2 people will stop at nothing to make this game represent their original vision and put on much more on top of that. It might be true they might had a rocky start but I can respect how this situation didn't wear them down and abandon this game. While it won't probably be the best game you'll ever play in your life, there are some good moments that'll raise your "Spook-o-meter" so feel free to give it a shot.After their last Mass Update I can say the game is bug-free and is playable from start to finish. On top of that they have a very addicting mini-game called "Cubica" so I can say the amount of effort that has been put into this game along with the huge fixes with the last update proves the developers deserve a second chance. "This is an indie game but it doesn't look indie" I'm quoting myself here. This game looks really good but fell pretty hard when it released. It had issues with the loading screens, visuals, audio, and other bugs. What kept my interest is the story. I came to a point where the game was just unplayable for me so I waited patiently for any announcements. News of a major update prompted me to play and stream it again after taking a break from it for six months. There are alot of improvements to the game after the update. I just started a new game save but I'm already noticing improvements that make the game much better.. I own the game since day two! I played but it had too many bugs. After the update I see a huge improvements! The optimization is pretty darn good, no frame drops no enemy glitches and the levels load smoothly. I like the "skip" button on the cinematics, saves you time! The aiming is much better. The objectives is a must have in these games and the devs listened. The crates where you get ammo and other items is a life savior in some situation! Overall I am very happy with the game !!. I understand that this game was a passion project for the devs, a chance to make and release a survival horror game in the same as a Silent HIll or Alen Wake, but it falls very short. Bad voice acting, subtitles that are different from the dialogue spoken, and unskippable cutsceens are not the best way to start a game. From the start the game forces you to watch these cheesy cutsceens and makes you sit though load screen after load screen as you move from one small area to another. Now I know some beloved horror games in the past had you go though load screens when moving from room to room but that was in the early to mid 90's on a playstation, this is 2018 and on pc. One very big issue I had with all of this is, it took me 23 mins to actually get to some real gameplay, yes you could walk around your appartment and then down the street to get a cab, the walk in the lobby of a hospital before the title card and the real game begins but its between unskipable cutscenes and by the time it was at the main meat of the game I just didnt want to play any longer. The controle are bareable but need lots of work, and forget about immersion as you will be clipping though the enviroment and when it finally comes to combat good luck. In combat the contoles feel even worse and the camera is a pain to deal with. If you want a oldschool horror game that is actually good go else were, me personally, I regret wasting my money on this game.
